Update from Al-Husayni Madressa Principal - November 6 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Salam Alaykum,
We pray that you and your families are in the best of health.

We just wanted to inform you that this SATURDAY NIGHT (SUNDAY MORNING), the clocks GO BACK ONE HOUR. However, this WILL NOT affect the timings of the Madressa which will continue to run from 12:00 PM TO 3:00 PM. We will only adjust the timings of the Salat and the first class.
Parents are requested to maintain time and ensure that your children are at the Madressa SHORTLY BEFORE 12:00 PM.

Insha-Allah on Sunday November 21st, 2010, we will have a small HAJJ EID CELEBRATION in which the Madressa will provide lunch and some treats for the students. Also the students and teachers will be presented with a small gift for Eid.

Tax receipts for the Madressa contributions have already been issued and given to most of the parents. Those parents who are giving monthly donations will be issued receipts at the end of the year. If you have not received your receipt yet, then on Sunday, please drop by and speak to the Principal.

If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

was Salam,
Al Husayni Madressa Team

Introduction to Islam

Dennis Wholley meets Imam Hassan Qazwini, leader of the Islamic Centre in Dearborn, Michigan, to discuss the fundamental beliefs of Islam, and remove any misconceptions the general public may have. Many  Non-muslims have the idea that the Islamic clerics and leaders are hostile and unapproachable, however Dennis Wholley shows that the Islamic leaders (Imams) are normal people like you and I, striving for a better future for upcoming generations.
