Salaam Alaikum,
Please forward this message to the community.
Salaamun alaikum.
InshaAllah this message finds you and your families in good health. Tomorrow night (NOVEMBER 3) is the night before the martyrdom of our beloved Imam, Imam Hussein a.s. It is highly recommended to stay awake on the eve of Ashura and listen to the masaib of the tragedy of Imam Hussein a.s and his family; this will help us to take the lessons learned from Ashura and implement it in our own lives in order to better ourselves for the coming of the Imam of our time ajtf.  Please join your fellow lovers of Hussein in trying to achieve as much as possible from such a night at IHS after the nightly muharram program.
The event will start with the recitation of surah Al-Fajr, followed by a tafsir, discussion, and QandA session with Br. Assad Darsi.  There will also be a recitation of Ziyarat e Nahiya which will be followed by a live stream from MIC (Masumeen Ismalic Centre) of the Maqtal of Imam Hussein a.s by Br. Khalil Jaffer. The program will end with maatam and ziyarat e ashura.
JazakAllah Khair

Introduction to Islam

Dennis Wholley meets Imam Hassan Qazwini, leader of the Islamic Centre in Dearborn, Michigan, to discuss the fundamental beliefs of Islam, and remove any misconceptions the general public may have. Many  Non-muslims have the idea that the Islamic clerics and leaders are hostile and unapproachable, however Dennis Wholley shows that the Islamic leaders (Imams) are normal people like you and I, striving for a better future for upcoming generations.
