As-Salaam Alaykum - السلام علیکم

Programs to be held at 81 Hollinger Crescent (IHS Centre) for this week are as follows:
1) On Thursday, May 26th  (19th Day of Sha'baan) we will be holding the Thursday (Shabe Jumu'ah) program and continuing our aspiration to learn more about the living Imam. The program will begin at 7:30pm (PLEASE NOTE TIME) with the recitation of Surah Yaseen, Dua Kumayl, Movie presentation on the 12th Imam (see below),  Ziyarat-e-Waritha, followed by Salatul Maghribain at prime time.

There is no greater figure in Islamic history after the Prophet than the one known as Imam Al-Mahdi.  Prophesied in the hadith literature by name with his traits,  qualities and characteristics,  as narrated by ALL Muslims we get a vivid picture of him and his movement.  However an individual so important had also been mentioned in the Quran in over 100 instances.  Join us this Thursday night as we seek to further our knowledge of our Imam through a unique and stunning visual presentation in the form of two short videos of a total of 30 minutes. These videos are not your average “movie” but rather are something unique in better understanding the Imam,  his part,  present and future.

Refreshments will be served.

Please note: Anyone wishing to recite Quran, Duas, or anything, is requested to let Sy. Taha or one of the committee members in advance, or you can email us at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Introduction to Islam

Dennis Wholley meets Imam Hassan Qazwini, leader of the Islamic Centre in Dearborn, Michigan, to discuss the fundamental beliefs of Islam, and remove any misconceptions the general public may have. Many  Non-muslims have the idea that the Islamic clerics and leaders are hostile and unapproachable, however Dennis Wholley shows that the Islamic leaders (Imams) are normal people like you and I, striving for a better future for upcoming generations.
