Programs for January 8th and 9th 2015 Print
Salam Alaykum,
Programs to be held at the IHS Centre at 81 Hollinger Crescent, for this week, are as follows:
1. Thursday, January 8th (18th night of Rabi al-Awwal) we will be celebrating the Wilaadat of the Final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family and the 6th Imam, Imam Jafar as-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and the Thursday night program. The program will begin at 7:30pm with Surah Yaseen, Dua Kumayl, Qaseedah, majlis by Shaykh Saleem Bhimji on the continuation of Br. Akil Karim's lecture on how the Prophet is also Rahmaan and Raheem- from the Holy Quran, followed by  Ziyarat. Refreshments will be served after the program.

PLEASE NOTE that there will be a special children's class for ages 7 to 12 yrs in the LIBRARY conducted by Sr. Zainab Amiri (continuation of the prgrams for children).  This class is ONLY for this age group and younger children will NOT be permitted into the class.  IF there are any volunteers who would like to help out in conducting a class for younger children, then please email us so we can arrange a separate class accordingly.

2. Friday, January 9th (18th Day of Rabi al-Awwal), Salatul Jumu'ah will begin at 12:30 PM led by Shaykh Shafiq Hudda.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL CHARITY BAZAAR taking place this Thursday,January 8th (last day) on the ladies side of the centre in which items will be sold and all proceeds will go towards the ISJ of WW for upcoming events to be held in the new year - the Jamaat is planning to hold a special Khums seminar FOR THE COMMUNITY and have youth programs. Everyone is requested to donate ANY items which can be put on sale at this event - such as clothing (in good shape), toys, jewellery, electronics, etc... EVERYTHING must be in good, working condition. Each family can bring up to one shopping full of items to donate.
