Programs for June 2-3 2016 Print

As-Salaam Alaykum - السلام علیکم

Programs to be held at 81 Hollinger Crescent (IHS Centre) for this week are as follows:
1) On Thursday, June 2nd (26th Day of Sha'baan) we will be holding the Thursday(Shabe Jumu'ah) program.  Program will begin at 7:30pm with the recitation of Surah Yaseen, Dua Kumayl, Lecture by Seyed Hadi Sajedi (please see below for his biography),  Ziyarat-e-Waritha, followed by Salatul Maghribain at prime time.Seyed Hadi Sajedi was born 1983 in Kazeroun, Iran. He moved to Qum to start his religious studies in the Hawza (Seminary) of Qum right after getting his diploma from high school. He is still studying in the Qum Hawza at the PhD level. Simultaneously, he did his master at Baqir Al-Ulum University in Philosophy of social sciences and then started his PhD in the same field of study. He is working on his PhD thesis now.  He is in Waterloo right now studying on an exchange program.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it There will be a special kids class in the library for ages 7-13 years taught by Al-Hajj Zaman al-Khafagi. Please note age, younger kids are not allowed in the class as they distract the other children.  Please note that this class will take place AFTER Dua Kumayl, and will run until the Salaat time.
2) On Friday, June 3rd (27th Day of Sha'baan) Salatul Jumu'ah will begin at 1:20 pmled by Shaykh Shafiq Hudda.

The First day of the blessed Month of Ramadhan will either be on Monday, June 6th orTuesday, June 7th.  As soon as confirmation is received, we will email it out to everyone.  As in the past years, our programs will be held mainly on Thursday evenings and the A'maal nights, details will follow soon.  Anyone wishing to sponsor any iftaars for the programs, can let us know.
